Results change every time.
Congestion, Wi-Fi conditions and device load all affect results. Measure a few times, ideally over a wired connection.
Is any data stored?
Results are only shown in your browser and are not stored on our servers (for server-based checks, the target hostname or URL is sent to our server to perform the measurement).
Does distance to the server matter?
Yes — farther servers mean higher ping and often lower speed. This test measures against our Tokyo server.
