What is the check digit?
The first digit of a corporate number is computed from the other 12 digits with a formula set by the National Tax Agency. It helps catch typos.
Can it check sole-proprietor numbers?
It checks the format (T + 13 digits). No check method is published for sole-proprietor numbers, so they are not judged by check digit.
Can I paste full-width characters or hyphens?
Yes. Full-width digits, full-width T, spaces and hyphens are removed automatically.
