Are hiragana and kanji converted?
No. They have no half-width form and stay as they are.
What happens to voiced katakana like ガ?
It becomes two half-width characters (ｶﾞ) and converts back to ガ.
Can I convert only katakana?
Yes. Tick only "Katakana" (it is off by default).
